Maxim ประเทศไทย เผยยอดการเรียกใช้บริการผ่านแอปพลิเคชันเพิ่มขึ้น 14.6% ในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่มีฝนตกชุกของเดือนมิถุนายน–กรกฎาคม เมื่อเทียบกับช่วงก่อนหน้าที่สภาพอากาศแห้งกว่า ท่ามกลางประกาศเตือนของกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยาเกี่ยวกับฝนตกหนักในหลายพื้นที่ของประเทศตลอดเดือนสิงหาคม แพลตฟอร์มจึงขอแนะนำให้ผู้โดยสารและพาร์ทเนอร์คนขับใช้ฟีเจอร์ด้านความปลอดภัยที่มีอยู่ภายในแอปพลิเคชัน เพื่อเพิ่มความมั่นใจในทุกการเดินทาง
ตามการพยากรณ์ของกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา คาดว่าหลายพื้นที่ของประเทศไทยจะยังคงมีฝนตกต่อเนื่องในระยะนี้ ซึ่งอาจส่งผลให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลัน น้ำป่าไหลหลาก และสภาพถนนที่เสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุ ด้วยเหตุนี้ Maxim ประเทศไทยจึงให้ความสำคัญกับการส่งเสริมความปลอดภัยในการเดินทางเป็นพิเศษ พร้อมแบ่งปันคำแนะนำเพื่อช่วยให้ทั้งผู้โดยสารและพาร์ทเนอร์คนขับเดินทางได้อย่างปลอดภัยตลอดฤดูฝน
สำหรับผู้โดยสาร แพลตฟอร์มแนะนำให้วางแผนการเดินทางล่วงหน้า ตรวจสอบค่าโดยสารและเวลาถึงโดยประมาณผ่านแอปพลิเคชัน พร้อมเผื่อเวลาเดินทางมากกว่าปกติในช่วงที่มีฝนตก ก่อนเริ่มการเดินทาง ควรตรวจสอบชื่อพาร์ทเนอร์คนขับ ยี่ห้อรถ และหมายเลขทะเบียนรถให้ตรงกับข้อมูลที่แสดงในแอปพลิเคชันทุกครั้ง
เพื่อเพิ่มความอุ่นใจตลอดการเดินทาง แอปพลิเคชัน Maxim มาพร้อมฟีเจอร์ด้านความปลอดภัย ได้แก่ การแชร์ตำแหน่งการเดินทางแบบเรียลไทม์ผ่านลิงก์ ระบบแชตภายในแอปที่ช่วยลดความเสี่ยงจากการหลอกลวง และปุ่มฉุกเฉิน (SOS) ที่สามารถแจ้งเตือนไปยังผู้ติดต่อฉุกเฉินพร้อมข้อมูลการเดินทางโดยอัตโนมัติเมื่อเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน
ในส่วนของพาร์ทเนอร์คนขับ แพลตฟอร์มแนะนำให้ตรวจสอบสภาพรถอย่างสม่ำเสมอ โดยเฉพาะยางรถ ระบบเบรก ไฟหน้า และที่ปัดน้ำฝน เพื่อให้รถมีความพร้อมสำหรับการใช้งานในช่วงฝนตก ระหว่างการขับขี่ควรลดความเร็ว เพิ่มระยะห่างจากรถคันหน้า หลีกเลี่ยงการเปลี่ยนช่องทางกะทันหัน และเลือกใช้เส้นทางที่หลีกเลี่ยงพื้นที่น้ำท่วมขัง โดยกรมควบคุมโรคแนะนำให้ใช้ความเร็วประมาณ 30–50 กิโลเมตรต่อชั่วโมงขณะฝนตก เปิดไฟหน้ารถแม้ในเวลากลางวัน และเพิ่มความระมัดระวังเป็นพิเศษในช่วงแรกที่ฝนเริ่มตก
สำหรับพาร์ทเนอร์คนขับรถจักรยานยนต์ Maxim ประเทศไทยให้ความสำคัญกับการเตรียมความพร้อมในการให้บริการในช่วงฤดูฝน โดยมีการ แจกเสื้อกันฝนให้แก่พาร์ทเนอร์คนขับ เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกและช่วยให้สามารถให้บริการได้อย่างเหมาะสมในสภาพอากาศที่มีฝนตก พร้อมแนะนำให้หลีกเลี่ยงเส้นทางที่มีน้ำท่วมขังหรือสภาพถนนที่ไม่ปลอดภัย ทั้งผู้ขับขี่และผู้โดยสารรถจักรยานยนต์ควรสวมหมวกนิรภัยทุกครั้ง และเลือกสวมเสื้อผ้าสีสว่างที่มองเห็นได้ชัดเจน เพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัยระหว่างการเดินทาง

Safety Tips: Maxim Ride-Hailing Notices 14.6% Growth in Demand During Rainy Season
Maxim Thailand recorded a 14.6% increase in the number of orders during the rainy weeks of June and July compared to the drier period of May–June. Against the backdrop of a new warning from the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) about heavy rainfall in August, the company reminds passengers and driver-partners about the safety features available in the app.
According to the TMD forecast, rainfall intensity will continue in the coming days. Prolonged precipitation is expected, creating risks of flash floods, forest runoff, and hazardous road conditions. In this regard, Maxim Thailand is placing special emphasis on travel safety.
Passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance, check the fare and estimated time of arrival, and allow extra travel time. Before boarding, it is important to verify the driver’s name, vehicle make, and license plate number against the information in the app.
The Maxim app offers a range of safety features for secure travel: real-time location sharing via a link, an in-app chat without the risk of fraud, and an SOS button with automatic notification of emergency contacts.
For driver partners, the platform recommends checking their vehicles regularly, particularly the tires, brakes, headlights, and windshield wipers, to ensure they are ready for use during rainy conditions. While driving, drivers should reduce their speed, maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, avoid sudden lane changes, and choose routes that avoid flooded areas. The Department of Disease Control recommends driving at approximately 30–50 kilometers per hour during rainfall, keeping headlights on even during the daytime, and exercising extra caution when rain first begins.
For motorcycle driver partners, Maxim Thailand places particular emphasis on preparing for service during the rainy season. The company is providing raincoats to driver partners to ensure greater convenience and help them continue providing services appropriately in rainy conditions. Drivers are also advised to avoid flooded areas and roads that may be unsafe. Both motorcycle drivers and passengers should always wear helmets and choose brightly colored clothing that is clearly visible to help enhance safety during their journeys.
