For seven nights, running from February 9 to 15 – including Valentine’s Day on February 14 – the talented chefs that Sirimahannop will transport guests on a journey back in time to Thailand’s Ayutthaya Kingdom, when Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River was a bustling thoroughfare of lively markets, waterside shophouses, grand palaces and foreign settlements. An exclusive à la carte selection features five dishes that evoke this romantic era of exploration and discovery, all crafted using the finest ingredients, culinary flair and artistic presentation.
Couples can savor Scallop & Coconut Ceviche, a vibrant appetizer enlivened with pomelo, coriander oil and caviar, or experience the exotic flavor and aroma of Sugarcane Smoked Duck Breast with lychee and butterfly pea sauce. For a luxurious seafood sensation, Canadian Lobster Choo Chee presents a half or whole lobster, chargrilled to perfection and served in a rich red curry sauce with local spinach and lemon, while meat lovers can savor Lamb Rack Kor Lae – succulent lamb in a red curry marinade, served with fresh herb salad.
