CHERY GROUP 1 ใน 5 แบรนด์รถยนต์พลังงานใหม่ (NEV) ที่มียอดขายสูงสุดของโลก และแบรนด์อันดับ 1 ด้านการส่งออกรถยนต์ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 23 ของประเทศจีน ฉลองการผลิตรถยนต์ครบ 20,000 คัน ณ โรงงานผลิตยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่ (NEV) จ.ระยอง นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการตอกย้ำศักยภาพด้านการผลิตของ CHERY GROUP ในประเทศไทย หลังเริ่มเดินสายการผลิตอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อเดือนเมษายน 2569 ที่ผ่านมา
ความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้ เป็นเครื่องยืนยันถึงเสียงตอบรับอันแข็งแกร่งจากผู้บริโภคชาวไทยที่มีต่อยนตรกรรมภายในเครือ CHERY GROUP ทั้ง OMODA & JAECOO และ CHERY และสะท้อนความต้องการของตลาดในประเทศต่อรถยนต์พลังงานใหม่ที่เติบโตขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมเน้นย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของบริษัทฯ ในการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถด้านการผลิต การลงทุนอย่างต่อเนื่องในระยะยาว การใช้ชิ้นส่วนประกอบภายในประเทศ การสร้างงาน สร้างรายได้ การถ่ายทอดทักษะและองค์ความรู้ และการเสริมความแข็งแกร่งของห่วงโซ่อุปทานรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าของประเทศไทย

โรงงานผลิตยานยนต์พลังงานใหม่ (NEV) ของ CHERY GROUP ตั้งอยู่ที่ อำเภอนิคมพัฒนา จังหวัดระยอง เริ่มเดินสายการผลิตอย่างเป็นทางการตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2569 ในปัจจุบันโรงงานแห่งนี้ได้ผลิตรถยนต์ภายใต้ CHERY GROUP ครอบคลุมทั้งแบรนด์ OMODA & JAECOO และ CHERY รวมทั้งสิ้น 4 รุ่น ได้แก่ OMODA C5 EV, JAECOO 5 EV, JAECOO 6 EV และ CHERY V23 เพื่อรองรับความต้องการของตลาดในประเทศที่เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง และการส่งออกในอนาคต โดย CHERY GROUP มีแผนเพิ่มไลน์การผลิตของรถยนต์รุ่นอื่น ๆ จากกหลากหลายแบรนด์เพิ่มเติมทั้ง LEPAS, iCAUR และ LUXEED รวมถึงรถยนต์เทคโนโลยี REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) อีกด้วย
ทั้งนี้ CHERY GROUP กำลังดำเนินการสร้างสนามทดสอบรถยนต์ (Proving Ground) ที่ครอบคลุมพื้นที่กว่า 40,000 ตารางเมตรภายในพื้นที่ของโรงงาน โดยออกแบบมาเพื่อทดสอบรถยนต์ในถนนจำลองที่ใกล้เคียงกับการใช้งานจริงมากที่สุดก่อนส่งมอบถึงมือลูกค้า ซึ่งจะประกอบไปด้วยเส้นทางทดสอบเฉพาะทางหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งเส้นทางทดสอบความทนทาน อาทิ ถนนลูกระนาด ถนนหินกรวด เส้นทางทดสอบการควบคุมรถและระบบเบรก อาทิ ถนนคดเคี้ยว ถนนทดสอบระบบเบรก ABS และเส้นทางตรงเพื่อทดสอบการขับขี่ความเร็วสูง รวมถึงพื้นที่ทดสอบเฉพาะทางอย่างบ่อทดสอบการลุยน้ำ และลานทดสอบการไต่ทางลาดชัน นอกจากนี้ สนามทดสอบแห่งนี้ยังสามารถรองรับพื้นที่จอดรถและเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนส่งมอบ (PDI) ได้มากถึง 350 คัน เพื่อเสริมความแข็งแกร่งและความมั่นใจให้กับกระบวนการควบคุมคุณภาพรถยนต์ของ CHERY GROUP ในประเทศไทยได้เป็นอย่างดี

Chery Group Celebrates Production of 20,000 Vehicles in Just Five Months Reflecting Strong Manufacturing Capability and Consumer Confidence, Reaffirming Its Long-Term Commitment to Thailand
Chery Group, the Top 5 global new energy vehicle sales and the No.1 Chinese passenger car exporter for 23 consecutive years, celebrated the production of its 20,000th vehicle at its NEV manufacturing plant in Rayong Province. This marks another important milestone in CHERY GROUP’s manufacturing strength in Thailand, following the official start of production in April 2026. The achievement reflects the strong response from Thai consumers to vehicles under the CHERY GROUP portfolio, including both OMODA & JAECOO and CHERY, and highlights the continued growth in domestic demand for new energy vehicles. It further underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing capabilities, sustaining long-term investment, increasing the use of locally sourced components, creating jobs and income, transferring skills and knowledge, and strengthening Thailand’s electric vehicle supply chain.

CHERY GROUP’s NEV manufacturing plant, located in Nikhom Phatthana District, Rayong Province, began official production in April 2026. The plant currently produces four models under the CHERY GROUP portfolio, spanning both the OMODA & JAECOO and CHERY brands: the OMODA C5 EV, JAECOO 5 EV, JAECOO 6 EV, and CHERY V23, to meet growing domestic demand and support future export plans. CHERY GROUP plans to further expand its production lines to include additional models from its brand portfolio, including LEPAS, iCAUR, and LUXEED, as well as vehicles featuring Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, in the future.
CHERY GROUP is also building a large-scale proving ground spanning over 40,000 square meters within the plant premises, designed to test vehicles under various road conditions that closely replicate real-world driving before they reach customers. The facility will feature a range of specialized test tracks, including durability test tracks such as washboard and cobblestone roads, vehicle handling and braking test tracks such as the twist road and ABS road, as well as a high-speed straight track. It will also include dedicated areas for water-fording and hill-hold tests. In addition, the proving ground will be able to accommodate up to 350 vehicles for parking and pre-delivery inspection, further strengthening confidence in CHERY GROUP’s vehicle quality control process in Thailand.
This milestone celebration forms part of CHERY GROUP’s long-term strategy to support and advance the sustainable growth of Thailand’s new energy vehicle industry. This includes promoting the use of locally sourced components, developing the capabilities of Thai personnel, and transferring knowledge in new energy vehicle technology, all aimed at strengthening Thailand’s electric vehicle supply chain over the long term.
