In honor of National Mother’s Day 2026, Maxim Thailand, a leading ride-hailing platform provider, joins in celebrating the role of women and releases insights derived from the usage of its “Female Driver” service. The data reflects the distinct travel behaviors of mothers traveling with children around the cities of operation.
According to data from the “Female Driver” service, mothers traveling with their children can be broadly divided into three main groups. The largest group consists of mothers with children over 7 years old. Children at this age can sit independently in a car seat, making trips more flexible. At the same time, parents are advised to ensure children are properly buckled in and maintain correct posture throughout the journey.
The second largest group is mothers with children aged 1 to 7 years. At this stage, it is especially important for parents to prepare appropriate child seats or safety devices that match the child’s age, height, and needs.
